For ANY BRAND OF DIGITAL Camera that you paid between $1,000 and $3000 (not including Shipping or Accessories) MACK DIGITAL CAMERA 5-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY is designed to provide you with coverage for manufacturer defects. 

The coverage under this warranty begins on the date of your purchase of this Warranty, unless you have failed to pay for it prior to the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of your purchase of the digital camera intended to be warranted by this Warranty, and expires five (5) years from the date that you purchased your camera.

Whether it is Murphy's Law or just "luck", electrical malfunctions seem to take place the day after the Manufacturer Warranty expires. The Mack Camera Extended Warranty offers you that peace of mind for those unexpected malfunctions and costly repairs. When you purchase a Mack Camera Extended Warranty, you are truly making a smart investment for your digital camera. 

Commencement of Coverage: This - of course - is for the purchase of a 5-year Warranty.  MACK CAMERA's 3-Year Extended Warranties (specifically excluding THIS warranty) begin their 3-year coverage term upon the expiration of your camera manufacturer's warranty; on the other hand, however, MACK CAMERA 5-Year Extended Warranties (specifically including THIS warranty) begin the 5-year coverage term upon the purchase of the 5-year camera warranty (but which MUST be purchased within 30 days of the date that you bought the camera that you intended to obtain extended warranty coverage for).

By working with Mack Camera and Video Service you are investing in a customized repair and service program for your new equipment.

What is covered/ What is not covered: Mack Warranties have extremely broad coverage but there are some  reasonable exclusions.

Your Mack 5-Year Professional Digital Camera Between $1,000 and $3000 Extended Warranty covers manufacturer defects that can result in the loss of operation to your equipment.  The Mack Camera Extended Warranty will cover parts [EXCLUDING Shipping and Accessories] and labor for the life of the Extended Warranty plan at no additional charge to you, truly making this Extended Warranty a smart investment for your equipment.   Please remember, this warranty does not cover equipment which has been misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations.  Accessories are not covered under the terms of the warranty. Accessories not covered: e.g., flashes, batteries, power adapter, digital media, software, LCD (non-manufacturer defects), lenses that are not included as part of the manufacturer's included specifications of the model number of your camera [we have great prices on warranties for add-on lenses], and additional accessories or other expenses or consequential damages.

BELOW is the description of MACK # 1018 frequently used by MACK to describe this warranty:

"5 Year Still Digital Warranty ($1,000 to $3,000)
This warranty covers all parts and labor for five (5) years from date of purchase. The equipment will be guaranteed to operate properly according to manufacturer's specifications or we shall repair equipment to operate properly at no charge to you, (this includes all parts and labor). Such service, repair or adjustment of this equipment is assured the original purchaser only. This warranty does not cover equipment which has been misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations. Accessories not covered: flashes, batteries, power adapter, digital media, software, LCD (non-Manufacture defects), interchangeable lenses, and additional accessories, other expenses or consequential damages. This limited warranty is transferable on listed equipment for a $20.00 fee.

In the event that this equipment requires any repairs or service, it must be delivered post paid with warranty #, the owner's name and address, dated sales invoice and description of difficulties encountered to Mack Camera & Video Service, 200 Morris Ave., Springfield, N.J. 07081 along with a check for 10.00 to cover shipping and handling in the Continental US (cost for overseas shipping to be determined).
